To the nations
In Matthew 28:19, Jesus tells us to “Go and make disciples of all nations.” In order to make disciples of all nations, we must go to the nations. We are committed to this great commission from Jesus now more than ever. From short term opportunities to long term going, are you ready to join us?
Long-Term Going
Harris Creek desires to send our members to the ends of the earth with the good news of the gospel. God’s heart is clear throughout scripture that He desires for all nations to know, love, and worship Him. Long-term goers will travel to unreached areas of the world and commit their first two years to language study and cultural integration. After these two years, they will be assigned a city/region with a long-term team for a lifetime of ministry among the unreached.
Mid-Term Going
Harris Creek will provide opportunities for members to serve among and be equipped to make disciples of all nations for an entire summer. During these mid-term trips, participants will be paired with trusted and vetted long-term teams/ministries to seek and save the lost. Participants will develop relationships with locals, share the gospel with non-believers, and train indigenous believers to make disciples.
Short-Term Going
Throughout the year, Harris Creek will provide opportunities for members to serve among and be equipped to make disciples of all nations. These short-term trips range from 7-14 days and create opportunities for Harris Creek members to minister to people in different contexts and cultures. Personal spiritual impact is the primary emphasis for every participant on short-term trips. Whether it’s a four hour flight to the Dominican Republic or a 20+ hour flight to Thailand, we desire to be a part of God saving people from every nation, tribe, and tongue.
